Digital Arts AVGC Academy · Hyderabad · 2027

India's first physical, department-specific VFX & Animation academy.

Studios hire by department — not by software skill. DART trains for the actual job a production floor needs, not a tutorial.

Limited seats per batch · Two intakes a year · Small cohorts by design

The Gap

India trains generalists. Studios hire specialists.

Most VFX education teaches software. Production pipelines are organized by department — and that mismatch is what costs graduates real jobs. DART is built around the department, not the tutorial.

Programs

Eight tracks. One department each.

Duration is matched to what each department actually requires. AI tools are taught within the workflow, not as a bolt-on.

1 Year

Camera Tracking / Matchmove

AI in the workflow: AI-assisted tracking/solve cleanup and automated clean-plate generation, taught alongside manual solving technique.
15 Months

Roto / Paint / Comp

AI in the workflow: AI-assisted roto and matte generation, AI paint clean-up, and generative upscaling — taught alongside manual technique, never as a replacement for it.
1 Year

DMP / Enviro

AI in the workflow: Generative texture/reference workflows, AI upscaling for matte paintings, and photobash acceleration.
1 Year

FX / CFX

AI in the workflow: AI-assisted simulation setup and caching workflows where studio pipelines use them; core simulation theory stays manual-first.
1 Year

Animation

AI in the workflow: AI-assisted retargeting and motion cleanup tools; manual animation principles remain the core skill taught.
9 Months

Lighting

AI in the workflow: AI denoising, render optimization workflows, and look-dev assist tools.
9 Months

Pipeline TD & Productions

AI in the workflow: Scripting/automation with AI coding assistants, pipeline tool-building efficiency, and production tracking automation.
15 Months

Unreal / Virtual Production

AI in the workflow: AI-driven asset generation for previs and real-time AI tools within the Unreal pipeline (e.g. digital human tooling).
Why DART

Built around the department. Not the software.

Working freelancers, not retired trainers

Every instructor is currently active in the industry — teaching what's true in production right now.

Duration matched to depth

Each diploma runs as long as the department actually takes to learn properly — from 9 to 15 months, not a flat calendar.

Physical, studio-style learning

No online shortcuts. Dailies review, revision rounds, and shot turnover — the way a production floor actually runs.

AI-literate, not AI-dependent

Every department teaches where AI accelerates the workflow — and where trained judgment still has to come from a human.

What DART is not: not a general animation course, not an online program, not a software-certification shop.
